Can God fix what I have done?
Can God make right what I have made wrong?
Can God heal the hurts I have caused or suffered?
Is He willing?
Would He do it?
I believe He would.
Just ask Him and find out today.

I realize this title ain’t proper grammar, but it’s time to give ourselves permission to get good at what we’re good at!
Why do we choose to punish ourselves trying so hard to be good at what we’re not?
…try to knit when we’d rather sew
…take up jogging when we’d rather bike
…build furniture when we’d rather refinish it
…study math when we’d rather read and write
…attempt customer service when we’d rather be back stage
…etc, etc, etc…
There’s a time and place for everything, but why waste our time and energy pursuing what we’re not interested in anyway, because we feel obligated, or mom or dad wanted us to do that, or that’s all we learned how to do.
This can apply in all areas of our life, from hobbies, chores, vocation and vacation!
We need to switch gears in our thinking, get over the guilt of what we can’t or don’t like to do, and be a peace with and do what we really like to do and are good at.
Find and discover YOU. It may take some time, reflection, trying different things, and asking others what they see in you, but it’s never too late to start on a new journey. You will know you when you find you. You will be happier. You will feel satisfied with your work even though it will be challenging. You will do a better job. You will think of ways to improve your skills because you want to. Your work will matter to you, and it will benefit and help others in some capacity. It will be your work and you will be proud of it.
Something’s not right here. Why do we torment ourselves for feeling good? Is it unlawful, wrong or out of place?
What has ingrained in us such a mentality that we have trained ourselves to feel good about feeling bad? That’s backwards!!!
Bad feelings lead to higher stress levels, lower creativity and overall ‘unfunness’ to be around.
Could God have made feeling good… when we do think/be/good as an indicator that we’re on the right path, doing the right things, thinking the right thoughts, tapping into our true selves of who He wants/designed us individually to be???
Start to be aware of when you start to feel bad and then begin to wonder ‘why?’
Most of the time it will be only a trick to get you thrown off your path, slow down your progress, confuse you or stop you altogether from feeling and doing the good you are entitled and made to do.
I will think about my feelings today.
I will decide not to go through my life feeling bad for feeling good about myself.
