Many Things

Many things happening in the world. Many things demanding our attention.

Do they deserve our valuable time?

Often when the noises get so loud – we must stop and rest. Be at peace in ourselves and let the world go by – because it will anyway.

Redirect your thoughts to your life, your family, your neighborhood.  Keep in focus the smaller picture where you can help. You will feel better. Life will suddenly become more manageable. You will have hope, feel peace and be moving forward.

Just for today, this moment – focus on what’s doable in my grasp and not give thought to the many things going on around.

Life-3

Whose side are you on? That question is enough to make you lose your happiness and peace.

So many are clamoring for you to pick a side, to join in with them, to get on a (their) bandwagon. I have not been called to solve the worlds problems. There are tooooo many. That’s why we have a God and that’s why he says bring all your problems, concerns and worries to him.

To live, to really live, I have to fill my mind with good and beautiful and helpful thoughts. After I get me in line, then I can share the good and beautiful and be helpful to others.

Remember, we magnify what we think about, we magnify what we talk about. We have a wonderful country, wonderful minds, strong bodies…let’s see what we can do to increase these qualities.

If I devote my time, mind and eyes to be on the lookout for doing good, improving myself, taking good care of me…then I will see opportunities (there will be plenty) to help improve others lives so they can live better too.

I am all for solving problems, but some (most) problems are not mine to solve and that is when we get frustrated…trying to solve what is not in our power to work out.

Say what you will, but today, I’m choosing to live my life well. I will look for and advance goodness and beauty, I will keep myself at peace and not allow the clamor of others to get me off path. Then I know I will bring my best self to be an example and help others find peace in their world.

Let’s advance towards better living together today!

The Mind.

The Mind! Your mind, my mind the mind of mankind.

God gave us a good mind and the ability to think.

Noise, commotion and other voices shout in the breeze, hoping to land in your mind to make you think their way.

Don’t be tricked! Your mind is yours. Use it well to benefit you, yours and those around—to do and be your best!

This world, your community, your family needs all your best thoughts. We don’t have time to get side-tracked by things that will drag us down, rob our time or prevent us from becoming the better person.

Be like Santa Claus and make a list, check it twice whether those thoughts are of naught or nice.

It will be a present you give to yourself.

Make it a good gift!
