Don’t cut the thread! Don’t give up on yourself!

“A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth.” *

Even God, Himself won’t cut the thread or give up on you. He is for all of us underdogs. We who have tried and failed and tried and failed, sometimes given up but still trying.

You have worth and value inherently inside you because you were made in the image of God. Don’t believe anyone who tells you there is no value in you, or you have no place or aren’t needed and have nothing to offer. God did not say that about you and his word is tops!

He will never tell you you’ve gone too far, made too many mistakes and are unfixable. He can mend your life. He can mend your family. He can mend your friends. That’s what he does. He just needs your permission.

Good Up-Rising

I feel the good rising up in me.

God is the author of good because He is good, and God wants to help people be good and do good.

It doesn’t matter where on the spectrum a person is in relationship to God…every good idea was first inspired by God.

Yea, well I thought it up–it was my brain.

Who gave you your beautiful brain that can think a million different things?

You’re no monkey brain out of the swamp.

Your brain was made by God who created the swamp.

Don’t neglect and discredit the good rising up in you, rather get busy and start doing it.

What do I need to get busy with today?

God’s Car Wash

That sounds disrespectful!!! God’s not interested in a car wash. Why would you even attach his name to a car wash???

God IS interested in car washes; He gave man the idea to make a car wash to keep the car (that He gave man the idea to make) – CLEAN!

Just like we want our cars clean, God wants to keep us clean and refreshed. Some people wash their car every single day, and think nothing of buying the monthly plan to keep it clean daily…or maybe even twice a day depending on where they drive.

I like to have the underbody wash every time I go through. There’s so much dirt under the car from roads and travel that you can’t see, but it tends to eat on the bottom of your car and clog things up, and it’s the same with us.

In our walk through life, we pick up dirt where no one can see and we have to get a total refresh and cleanse of our body and mind. That’s where God’s powerful wash comes in. He will wash and clean us anytime we need it – day or night – so we don’t have to  carry around all the weight and dirt of the world and other peoples opinions and thoughts of us. We can go through God’s mighty car wash and come out sparklin’ clean, light and free… driving towards our next adventure.

The nice thing about paying ahead for the monthly car wash is you can go through the express lane. You don’t have to wait in line behind all the others.

That’s the same way with God. He’s already paid our monthly car wash pass and we can go through his express lane to get cleaned up anytime…without waiting in line.
