God’s Purpose

To make, create, build, restore, love, live, enjoy.

That purpose is to be our purpose.

  • Choose life
  • Choose to live
  • Choose good
  • Choose to help others
  • Choose to help yourself
  • Choose to be happy
  • Choose to think on good things that will help you do all of the above

It’s funny how human nature – we humans – cause all kinds of problems for ourselves and others, and then we try and solve them. But many of them we cannot solve.

God wants to help us. “But I caused the problem!” (We caused the problem so we think we have to solve it all by ourselves) This world is filled and consumed with problems we humans have created.

Like our children; they make a mess, they cause a problem, and we have to help them solve it and fix it because often they cannot.

The great thing about God is He wants to help us. He isn’t offended, doesn’t think we are dumb. He won’t make fun of us for the problem or for asking for His help.

We don’t even have to tell anyone we goofed up or tell them we asked God for help. Just talk to Him quietly and watch and see what He does to help 🙂

Stuck?

Start! Just begin doing something!

It doesn’t feel good going nowhere, so get out and go somewhere. Get some inspiration. Allow your mind to wander and wonder as you take a walk, a hike, a drive, a ride or even just move around the garage and sweep the floor. New ideas will come.

Then…just begin with one thing that makes you feel good, feel hopeful, feel excited. Write it, make it, bake it; then give it away, and begin again!

Keep moving…moving forward letting hope arise and feelings of accomplishment begin again.

Henry Ford

Think how one man’s idea improved the lives of many!

“We are accustomed to say, out of long observation and experience, that it if not prosperity that makes the automobile, so much as it is the automobile that makes prosperity. It gives a momentum and diversity to the people’s activity which tends constantly to increase and is most difficult to stop.” said Henry Ford.

He had an idea and kept at it until everyone could ‘afFord’ an automobile and ride in a new horseless carriage, which was thought foolish and impossible at the time!

Here are more of Mr. Ford’s quotes from the Edison & Ford Quote Book published by the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Ft Myers, Florida. (See previous post for quotes from Thomas Edison)

  • “The greatest thing we can produce is character. Everything else can be taken away from us.”
  • “If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.”
  • “A market is never saturated with a good product, but it is very quickly saturated with a bad one.”
  • “If there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get the other person’s point of view and see things from that person’s angle as well as from your own.”
  • “Wealth, like happiness, is never attained when sought after directly. It comes as a by-product of providing a useful service.”
  • “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.”
  • “One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his surprise, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn’t do.”
  • “Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.”
  • “Don’t find fault, find a remedy.”
  • “You can do anything if you have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes rise to the stars.”

And so I wish you readers a good, profitable and enjoyable day today!
