Maple Coffee

Off the beaten path .

Made a delicious ice-latte today…brewed up my regular strong organic Joe, filled the glass with ice, added a couple drops maple flavoring, poured in the coffee and topped it off with some whole milk.

Thought I was drinking a maple-iced long-horn doughnut!

You might like it too.

Happy Saturday 🙂

Recreaters/Recreators?

Why do we want to replicate things we like? A colorful meadow, an oak tree, a clear blue sky, a shimmering lake, a blazing sunrise/set, a mountain range…

Our recreation can tun into a new hobby/business recreating what we enjoy doing, seeing, relaxing in.

God is the beginning Creator, He made us in his image, that’s why we like to create and make things, it’s part of our heavenly DNA.

God’s not upset when we make something stunning and tell everyone, “I made this!”

It’s not prideful, it’s simply acknowledging and showing off the gift God gave. God likes when his creative people do what he created them to…continue on the process he began…making, creating, spreading life and good all around.

Then we divide it up. pass it around and begin the process all over.

Let your rec-reation turn into your re-creation.

What interests you? What do you like to do?

What is something I can make today and share with somebody to make their day?

Your Opinion Matters

That’s just your opinion!

Don’t let others invalidate your opinion because it doesn’t line up with theirs. You are entitled to it!

The object of the game is not to have the ‘best’ opinion or have it be agreed upon by the most people. Your opinion is for you…to help you see who you are…your likes and desires…preferences, and to be free to change it at any given time!

What you like (your opinions) are what make up you.

I like blue, I like asparagus, I like spring best, I like a brick house, I like to read non-fiction, I like to swim and ride my bike. Maybe you don’t like these things and that’s perfectly OK.

I’m going to stretch, develop and see what I’m about and be strong in my personal opinions, having the courage to express them.

Differences of opinion aren’t a threat to well-being; instead, they make life more full and interesting.

Next time you get to visit with someone, ask what they think about a certain topic and then really listen. They might ask your opinion. You could learn something new and maybe make a new friend.
