Stability of Your Presence

Often just knowing there is someone supporting you, rooting for you, thinking about you adds a sense of stability to life.

It gives you strength needed at a moment of stress or inactivity. It can hold you in place in a tough time. It energizes you on while you stand, helps you solidify an idea and keep moving forward.

We need people around us who will be there with us, and we need to be there with them.

Maybe that’s why we like to get coffee together, plan and make decisions together or just talk together about life and family. Then when we’re alone, or in crisis, we draw on the previous togetherness we had, and make it through.

Often it’s a word or phrase you said that clicks with something inside them that resonates later and  pulls them through. Sometimes, it’s just listening while they talk aloud sorting through their thoughts and ideas.

We each have tremendous ability to help another through a tough time.

It works both ways. Let’s make it work!
