We’re not talking over self-indulgence here, we’re talking loving self-care.
I have a physical body, you have a physical body. We have nails, teeth, skin, eyes, hair that need to be tended to. When you think pamper, think baby. They need lots of TLC, and we give it to them so they grow strong and healthy. Don’t think pampering your adult self is unimportant, underserving, unworthy or even unnecessary.
How often have we put off good care of ourselves thinking, ‘It’s not important, I’ll be OK…just this one time I’ll…and we ignore good care of our only body and wonder why when we accumulate some years that things start to ‘break down’.
Pampering tips:
- Put good wholesome fuel into your body… for more power under the hood
- Take yourself through a good wash and dry regularly… to avoid rusting out
- Keep shined up… so others will like to see you coming
- Keep your headlights clean and clear… so you can see where you’re going
- For better gas mileage, carry less in your trunk…longer engine life
- Drive enough to keep all parts moving easily…prevents sudden breakdowns
- Park at night to rest your engine fully…will have plenty of steam for tomorrow.
See if these help you; they have worked for me 🙂
