We Are a Commend-Nation Not a Condemn-Nation!

‘Everybody’ is not really the ‘everybody’ in many statistics we hear.

I believe the huge majority of our nation’s people are good people with good hearts wanting the best for themselves, their families and their country. They seek ways to commend each other, promote, award and advance all kinds of good thoughts, ideas, work, and leadership.

It’s easy to get into a negative bent when we talk about things we want improved or done differently. In our country, we have capabilities to provide solutions.  We are not locked into any certain way of doing things. We have freedom!

That’s the definition of true freedom…that I am free to change me and improve upon my life…make things different and better for me and my family. Freedom is not a coercion of others to follow along with my plans and ideas.  Freedom is leading, guiding, helping people to see and do good for themselves and others.

We have a bill of rights – not for me to demand you give me your rights, but that I can live out my rights in a way that’s best for me and mine without harming you and yours.

Do not give in to the voices rallying to condemn. Commend instead! Use your powerful voice to build up, strengthen, and encourage. Condemnation and destruction are two evil cousins not related to our brotherhood of commendation and freedom.

Who can I find to commend today?
