Is It Worth My Time?

Everybody seems to have something to say and wants to be heard….including me… in this blog. The question is, ‘Is what they have to say worthy of my time and energy? What will the results look like?’ Face it folks. We only have so many hours a day. With all the clamor hollering for our attention, what would we really like to devote our valuable time towards??

What would help you and yours the most in that time? Yes we need downtime for R&R with no commitments, but even then make your R&R valuable and worthwhile. Why waste it on something emotionally taxing, mentally upsetting. Everything we do takes energy; use the energy consumption to ultimately strengthen you. Sure, you’ll ache after a long hard bike ride, but the resulting strength build up to your body is good. Stretching your mental muscles learning a new skill gives you greater peace of mind in future challenges. A light hearted comedy making you laugh, or a good book will do you better than ‘keeping up on the Joneses’.

Pick and choose what is best for you. Really best, not short term fix, but thinking ahead to what you want to think/be like.

Unfortunately, but fortunately, there is no “My way is the best way…everybody do it like this for perfect results.” Life is learning from others, but setting your own adventure, observing, thinking, planning, conferring with others, yet finding your own course. You get to determine what is best for you, not what someone else tries to tell you is best for you.

Become very selective of your input and you will be pleased with your output.

We’re all in this game of life together. Let’s win!…win back our time, win back our families, win back ourselves!

You are worth it! We need your best you!
